More About Me
Alex started playing golf at Enmore Park Golf Club from a young age. He has been a member for 18 years, first joining at 10 years of age and was previously the Club's Junior Captain.
Upon completing a BTEC National Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science, Alex achieved a Golf Scholarship to attend Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida playing NCAA Division 1 golf. He played on the golf team for four years, captained the side in his final two years, winning the National Minority Collegiate Golf Championship twice.
Upon returning home, Alex immediately turned professional to play mini tour circuits. After three enjoyable and insightful years, he fulfilled his lifelong passion and dream of getting into the teaching and coaching industry.
When this opportunity at his home club arose, he decided to turn professional again and share his knowledge with other keen golfers of all ability levels.
Alex has been fortunate enough to have worked and practiced with some of the best coaches and players worldwide and this experience helped him derive his own swing preferences of continued learning, collaboration and great work ethic being key to higher performance levels.
